Man once again I missed so many amazing things, can’t get a pic driving etc... I saw an Italian coupe, can’t remember the name of them but they must have just passed the 25 year mark because there was one that was not sold here. I saw a few amazing classic Alfas coming back from some driving. So many, I might just have to get a dash can and record all my commutes. The city can produce very interesting things at any moment.

Fun fact (or so I’m told): The Standard Oil that looks like a Chevron is apparently the last one in the world that Chevron keeps alive to maintain control of the name.
The Land Rover you saw is a local car. I’ve got a pic of it from 7-years-ago in/around the Coit Tower area. I think I’ve seen it parked around there as late as 2014. It’s probably still around there.

Yeah I remember the FXC. Well they stayed at the Nikko or were at an event and had it valet parked! That is weird that it’s called that, I would probably say the Chevron station to anyone asking for directions.

Blue plates, he has been keeping them I guess. I like China Blue, this blue is just way too bright, mine is the dark blue one.

I’m cool with any vibrant seventies color, really. W123s had some interesting yellows, oranges, greens, and blues. Come to think of it, I’d happily welcome a 240D or 300D in one of those hues, with manual everything...
